Summer to September Already...and you know what that means...

Man, I can not even believe it's September. I came back from Canada and suddenly, everyone is back in school, people are off to college already, and I have yet to leave to my first year.

So crazy.

I figured since I tried finding summer songs all summer time long I'd have a song with the word September in it. Cheesy right lol?

Speaking of which, there's this other group called "Pomplamoose" who sings this Earth Wind and Fire song and it's too cute! I really find this group to be so cute. They sing well songs and just make it so catchy and...just like...cute.

Oh and, I just have to say that I really liked writing this blog this summer (and I'm happy if anyone read this at all...at least I know my friends did lol). This really gave me something to do when the summer time got too humid to do much at all. I'm so sick and tired of hearing about celebrity druggies...and scandals...and stupidity.

..."Paris Hilton arrested for cocaine possession"....

I'm sorry but who cares?

Just treat them like regular people for once, throw them in jail for the amount of time an everyday person sentence and call it a day.

Cheese and crackers, making their scandals a whole big deal. Making it news headlines. It's not even real news, it's just minding their business and giving them more attention then they already get.

And then! When the authorities of the world want to do something about the way they act, they punk out and give them a quarter of what the rest of the people in the world would get.

STOP GIVING THEM SPECIAL TREATMENT BECAUSE IT JUST GIVES THEM PERMISSION TO BE RECKLESS.

My friend showed me this three weeks ago and I wish I put it up earlier. I'm probably pretty behind on the shenanigans of the rest of the world outside of Canada but I have noticed that this guy seems to be pretty popular lately. So I figured why not jump on the Antoine bang wagon.

AU CANADA

It's been a while huh? Well...only about a week haha.

I haven't written anything for a minute because I've been in Canada!

If I even said I knew what was going on outside the world of Canada I'd be lying. First of all, everything here is in French...and the channels they do have in English are BORING. Well at least at the times I turn the tv on.

But! This country is quite clean I must say. Even their train stations...oh my bad I mean the "metro" is spotless man. I'm not even afraid of sitting down on the benches and I the air smells...not like pee.

All I know is that I definitely missed Keeping Up with the Kardashians (which by the way I heard got huge ratings because alot of people watched and they beat thier record from last year!). And I'm missing soooo many Degrassi Episodes and don't even get me started on how many Wendy Williams episodes I'm missing

But! other then that, it's not so bad here.

No worries, I haven't forgotten. Although the nights are pretty cold...for me...here, ITS STILL SUMMER! SO! Another summer time song!

I know it's August but remember July?

I realize it was July nine days ago haha but if I heard this song in July I would have included it in my posts. But it's still summer so here it is anyways! Gotta love Drake.



Oh! And I heard this song because of one of my friends (wuts up playa!). All my friends happen to be my music gurus.

Can I just say that I never knew how beast I was. Not to brag but I am a flippin Ninja Turtle.

I was extra hot today, feeling extra lazy, and had a stomach ache all day long. So these punk flies decide to mess with me when I'm clearly not in any kind of mood.

So, I decided, you know what, these flies have to go. So I took one of my flats.

AND THEN I KILLED THE FIRST FLY WHICH DIDN'T SEE ME COMING. IT WAS ON A MIRROR AND I WAS LIKE BAM BIDDY YOU DEAD FOOL.

but that's not even the part that makes me a Ninja.

I KILLED A FLY IN MID AIR! It came straight at me and I swung at it like I was gonna hit a baseball and this fly didn't even see it coming. I'm not even making this up it fell straight to the floor and was struggling to move. And I hit that fly and it was dead.

Conclusion?

Lohan strolls out of jail, Beyonce gets a ticket

It seriously bugs me when I hear famous people getting off easy when it comes to the law. Like Lindsay Lohan. This girl was suppose to spend a good 90 days in jail right? Instead, this chick strolls into jail, and a week later she's like deuces it was fun but I'd rather go to rehab...I feel like she was in jail for a minute.


(I picked a decent picture of Lohan because 1. I liked her natrual red hair better, 2. she doesn't look like a convict drug addict here, and 3. I'm tired of that blond hair that looks like its dying at the roots.)

But anyways

I'm not sure but last time I checked, everyone else has to tough it out. This girl even got special treatment. Lindsey got to keep her hair extensions in. What!? What makes her so super duper special that her tracks get to stay in? I'm sure she could have gone a week without her weave.

I'm sorry but it doesn't seem very fair to me. What does that say about the law? Did I miss the law that says: "Jail is for the commoners, celebrities only stop by"

ANYWAYS what I really wanted to point out was that Beyonce apparently doesn't get special treatment.



I was listening to the radio last week and I heard that Beyonce got a ticket for texting while driving. Now I love Beyonce but you know, I think it's good....I mean, it's not like she can't afford a $100 ticket.

So why is it that Ms. Beyonce who is way more popular then Lindsay Lohan by the way can get a ticket but Lohan gets to stroll in and out of jail like a visitor?

Ok, there's a big difference between jail and a ticket but still, everyone needs to be treated fairly and the same.

I'm not a Lohan hater either although she is a big hot mess. I just think all this special treatment isn't going to get any point across to her and she's never going to get back to her better Parent Trap and Mean Girls days is she someone holds her hand and tells shows her what she's doing to her life is okay by reducing her jail sentence time to a minute and a half.

Sup Kourtney Kardashian, You Deserve Better. K?

Let's talk about how furious I am at this girl Kourtney Kardashian on this week's Kourtney and Khloe take Miami (by the way when's Khloe coming back because she's been mia for three episodes straight).



This Kardashian happens to be the shortest and oldest of the Kardashian sisters and lately she's been making some FASCINATING decisions with her life.

She wants to be with Scott aka her babies daddy/sometimes drunk/sometimes violent/boyfriend, BUT! she loves Mason aka her adorable baby more then she loves Scott. So, she wants...what does this chick want? Because I'm not even sure she knows. She says she wants to not be with Scott for obvious reasons. He comes home early in the morning hung over and has the audacity to lie to her. But Scott is the baby daddy so she wants him in her life...but then again he has no other family around him in Miami so she wants to be there for him.

I'm mean I get it, kinda. I mean most women want a father figure in their children's lives. They want their children to have a whole family and not just a single parent. But is it worth having a whole family that's broken, dysfunctional, and ultimately unhappy?

The problem with Kourtney is that she keeps going back to Scott. He can screw up a thousand times but she'll always end up forgiving him. Now, don't get me wrong, the whole forgive and forget thing is a good thing, but I really think Kourtney needs to forget that she wants him in her life and drop him. Let the baby communicate with his father but drop him as her anything. Scott needs to figure his life out.

OH AND CAN I JUST SAY WHEN SCOTT TOLD KOURTNRY TO TRY HARDER TO SUPPORT HIM THAT JUST SET ME OFF. I GOT SO HEATED LIKE REALLY SCOTT??? ARE YOU REALLY ABOUT TO TALK TO YOUR OVER SUPPORTIVE GIRLFRIEND LIKE THAT WHO PUTS UP WITH YOUR SLOPPINESS???? Ugh.

Shoot, Scott needs to give Kourtney the child support and she needs to peace out because it's just not worth dealing with a man who can't keep himself together. That isn't a real man, and her child really doesn't need that kind of sloppy influence in his life.

Rude Boy, Gaga, Oh My Gosh?!

At the end of the year during late nights doing homework, which was every single night and weekends in my case lol, I remembered I kept listening to this guy sing all through the ridiculously early mornings...which surprisingly wasn't distracting at all since usually I need complete quiet. It made me even more motivated to stay awake, especially since those songs Telephone and OMG were the favorite songs during the end of the school year.

Speaking of which, Lady Gaga...

...is such a character. When she first came out I remember I didn't like her much at all. I thought she was just this weird chick trying to get attention. But! then Bad Romance came out and I was sold...to just that song...and Telephone after that haha.

I still think she's weird. Her video's have no relevance to what the songs. Like Bad Romance it relates for like a second...she kills her lover...then she's dancing...dancing...she's like frozen with floating crystlas...dancing...bug eyed...forced to think water?....lol.

Well Telephone connected more I guess during that one part where she's actually on the phone saying she's busy

...and then cue to Beyonce "YOU'VE BEEN A VERY BAD GIRL, A VERY VERY BAD BAD GIRL GAGA"...-smack- "NOW MAKE ME A SANDWICH GAGA" -eats sandwich...decides to share it-

I just don't understand exactly how Gaga connects her videos with her songs. Like, what is this lady's thought process connection?

Like her recent one Alejandro....................wtf(udge)?

No worries though, I'm not a Gaga hater, I just think she's out there, far far away. But, still like some of the songs regardless.

TEAM DIGGY ya dig!

I remember in March-ish Diggy mentioned his free style on his blog (Life of the Jet Setter, which is Diggy's (aka Daniel "Diggy" Simons) blog). Then I saw this video for it I really liked it. I also listened to his mix tape The First Flight, and surprise!, it wasn't bubble gum tween pop.



Diggy's from Run's House (LOVE THAT SHOW/and why hasn't it been on MTV for a while?). Since the episode that was all about Diggy's blog, I've followed it ever since.

But! that is not why I wanted to talk about Diggy. I read something so awesome this week on his blog and just remembered again after reading MTV News and IT'S SUCH PROUD NEWS!

Why am I proud? Because! He's been named one of the top five hottest breakthrough MC's of 2010 on the Sucker Free Summit!!! He's off to an awesome start and!!! he got signed with Atlantic Records!

Off topic for a second but, remember on Run's House how little kid high pitched his voice was? He definitely sounds like puberty is kicking in because there's definitely a noticeable change in his voice, lol but obviously it happens.

But anyways haha big ups to Diggy!

Jersey Shore July

Man, I can't even believe we're getting to the last week of July. Crazy. If there was a time to do something during the summer, July is the month. It should be the month of hardcore summer fun. Barbeque's, the beach, water parks, the whole nine. I already know though that I'm going to continue to sit and watch summer pass me by for about another week but! of course there's always August to redeem a summer of laziness!

When I think of summer, I think of July, and for some reason against my will, it makes me think of the Jersey Shore.



I found this out from my Friend first and then E News, but did you know the cast of Jersey Shore all went on strike for a raise?....for?...tanning?....?

But my bad on being a hater. If I could get paid for doing exactly what I've been doing all summer (eating, sleeping, breathing, crisping in the sun on occasions) I'd try my luck at a raise too.

No for real, I already know that even though I wouldn't want to admit this, I'm curious about this whole season two of the Jersey Shore. Snookie aka Nicole Polizzi (haha she's so short and like compact and funny) and "The Situation", they make the show so funny. I like Vinney too and how he's just there and then there JWoww haha. I mean...it's not like I watched intently or anything...just curiously stayed on MTV when the Jersey Shore marathons came on. :]

So here's LMFAO, because they sing the theme song for the Jersey Shore. Although, hearing them just makes me think of that show Kourtney and Khloe in Miami. Anyways I'll have to talk about the Kardashians later (I <3 the Kardashians)! Anywho, LMFAO.

Let's Talk Drake Again

I heard like a snippet of this song when MTV was playing that whole Drake special and I just happened to fall upon it again while I was looking for that other song I heard from Drake. I think it's pretty catchy.

Speaking of Drake's interview special. You know what I noticed. Drake didn't go into detail about being on Degrassi. Not even when he was on MTV's "When I was 17" show.



That picture is from back in the day when Drake was Aubrey Drake Graham. How thing's have changed though. But seriously, why not mention the Degrassi past? Maybe he doesn't want Degrassi to define him...but it's not like everyone doesn't already know he was Jimmy on Degrassi. What ever the reason is, I have to say, he grew up really well looking like this now.



Do what you do Drake, because it's really going great. But I'm not letting go of the Degrassi Jimmy past. I'm still going to wonder how he felt about the Degrassi next generation experience.

Fresh Drake Summer

You know that feeling, when you're in a car and a song comes on and you're just feeling it? Man it's a good feeling. Seriously though, ever season is different. To me. Fall is all about going back to school, so the songs on the radio just take you to school and back. Winter is all about holiday-type songs and Christmas. Spring is, eh, alright, the holidays are over and I personally have to get over the fact that the Christmas songs wont be on 24/7.

But summer, is the time to feel a song. Even if it's the hottest day out and you're AC isn't working, with the windows rolled down, and a good song, the humidity doesn't matter anymore. A summer time song can take you out of the heat and put you in a place where you just feel like summer is the time to chill and just go with what ever the weather want to throw at you.

Today, I heard this one song by Drake. Now let's say hello to Drake shall we?



I don't know what it was called, the beat was so like, you just want to nod your head with the beat. The song was so fresh, you know? I looked it up and It's either called "Miss me" or "All Night Long." Now, when I checked the lyrics of both songs, the two titles had the same lyrics so, I was just totally confused.

Anyways, I don't know if the song is old but regardless of that and the real title, in my opinion, the song was so fresh. I loved the chorus. Lil Wayne is in the song too...I'm not really a fan at all. Like eh, he's there and I don't like his part but it is what it is. So here's the song. There wasn't an edited like radio version without the swears so this is pretty raw, but it's all good.

Britney, Madonna, Obviously Glee!

GUESS WHAT I HEARD YESTERDAY!

Glee being as amazing as it always is, is going to have a Britney Spears episode. At least this is what I heard on whatever I was reading, and I want to say I was reading E News.

Anywho! I'm pretty excited about this. Although Britney Spears has had her ups and her downs, and then her lows, and then her rock bottoms, all that doesn't matter to me. Her songs are catchy, and that's all I really care about. OH MY GOODNESS IF GLEE SANG TOXIC I'D BE SO EXCITED!

IF PUCK aka Mark Salling SANG A BRITNEY SONG SOLO, I'D WOULD BE SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!


I'm almost as excited as I was when Glee had their Madonna episode. That episode was so epic. But not as epic as their Lady Gaga Episode, that episode was intense with Kurt's dad defending him. It was crazy good/extremely intense!

Speaking of which, I had a Madonna song stuck in my head, and I ended up YouTube-ing a whole bunch of her songs.

If we were in the 80's, or if I had to dress up for some decades thing, I would totally want to dress like Madonna and that big bow she puts in her hair (which reminds me of Lady Gaga).

Crispy Days of Summer Days, Bacon Summer Movies

Where I am in this world, it has been 80 degrees and higher every single day none stop. Tell me how the summers are freezing cold, like hard core Antarctica cold and the summer days crispy hot. Crispy with a side of humidity. I am an air conditioned room kind of person. I love winter for Christmas and I love seeing the snow...from the inside of a house, and best of all, the non-existent snow days (snow days were a WASTE since my city gave us like zero...literally, we had to hike through snow storms for our education.

But the summer is what I love, and my wardrobe is really more summer oriented, its just cuter.

So recently, I've had movies on the brain. I saw Eclipse (<3 TAYLOR LAUGHTNER FOREVER!)

...in fact lets take a moment to say hi to Taylor.

...and I saw Toy Story 3 (SO SAD BUT SO GOOD!).

Side note on Toy Story 3. If you were a graduating high school senior this year, this movie was such a perfect movie. It's like Andy grew up with all those graduating seniors. It's just a nice way to start a new or something along those lines of the mind set you need to get when you go to college.

But anywho, the next movie I think I want to see is Inception. It's about controlling dreams and that's all I really know. I actually wouldn't want to see a movie like this but, I had a change of heart. I just saw the movie Avatar (yes I know I'm pretty late on that) and I actually liked it. Never know if you don't go for something right? So Inception it is.

Oh and last thing that surprises me, that Juno girl, Ellen Paige, is in Inception. I don't know why but when I think of Ellen Paige, even though I've seen her other movies like Whip It, I automatically think of Juno. I just see her more as an actor comedian who plays teen girls, not an action packed movie girl, but I'm sure she'll be amazing. There she in in this picture.



By the way I'm seriously proud of myself for finally understanding how to upload a picture without having to make the picture a link. :D

The Black Keys

I came across a picture of this band, and I immediately thought...I didn't know Kevin McHale (aka Artie from Glee) was in a band?



Then I realized, it wasn't him.

BUT! Kevin Mchale was in this band called NLT "Not Like Them" ...yea that surprised me too.

The guy I thought was Kevin was actually Patrick Carney the drummer/producer along with Dan Auerbach, the guitarist/vocalist, of the band the Black Keys. They're pretty cool I must say.

Back to looks though. From a different angle, Patrick Carney kind of reminds me of Jemaine Clement, of the Flight of the Conchords.

If Jermaine and Kevin did one of those "what will our baby look like if we put our pictures into this generator game" things, Partick would come out. Pretty cute kid hahaha.

FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL! Spain vs. Netherlands

I've been watching this whole world cup since the beginning, and I have to say I'm surprised. I was for Brazil all the way, (BRAZIL ALL DAY EVERY DAY!), but I really thought Brazil would have done a lot better. Then there was Portugal, another team I seriously expected to do better. And not to mention, I loved watching Kaka



and Cristiano Ronaldo



Speaking of Cristiano Ronaldo, have you seen his 2010 summer Emporio Armani Ad??? He's amazing, not only is he an amazing futbol player, who plays for Portugal and Real Mardrid, but he models too!

Honestly, I have no idea who I want to win more. Both teams have done an amazing job this entire World Cup and so they both deserve it.

...But because the Netherlands beat Brazil, I'm leaning on the Spain side, my bets on Spain.

Eclipse, Lohan, and GLEE!!!

LOL, is the first thing I have to say.

I was watching E News, and of course, since there is nothing greater going on in the world other then Twilight and Lindsay Lohan's case, I had to comment.

First of all, I was having a conversation with my friend about just how much of an influence Twilight has on girls and I was like, no, no, no, no, no, everyone knows Twilight is a movie and clearly girls just watch for Jacob...

...aka TAYLOR LAUGHTNER <3. OBVIOUSLY.


But I was wrong.

There's some random new trend where instead all the wonderful ways of obtaining mono and other joyful things, girls and boys have found a new way of showing off their uncontrollable hormones. Instead of kissing, they have put it in their heads that they're actual vampires, not pretend like Twilight, but real, and they bite each others necks...

...I'm speechless at our generation.

As for Lindsay Lohan, her lawyer quit on her today, oh my is all I have to say for that girl.

Oh and this is random but...

GLEE GOT 19, THAT'S RIGHT 19 EMMY NOMINATIONS!!!!!!!! and I love that they're reshowing Glee on Fox ALL SUMMER LONG! GO GLEE!!!!!!!

Parallel Parking Anxiety

I can't even begin to describe how nervous I am about driving. I can drive, perfectly fine actually. I have no problem moving...and turning...and stopping. But, I have a problem parallel parking. How am I suppose to pass this driving test if I can't even parallel park. I'm afraid this will happen

Driving Police Officer: PARALLEL PARK
Me: OK....O_O....

Driving Police Officer: FAIL CAN YOU NOT SEE YOU'RE HITTING THE CURB FAIL...FAILURE

Every time I go to parallel park, I either hit the curb, or I end up to far away from it. And I don't know exactly what I'm suppose to do. I just hope I get by...tomorrow...since that seems to be my destiny. I just seriously hope I can do this because right now I'm more then just a little nervous. I'm going to practice and practice until I get it right.

Yes, Another song with the word summer! I didn't come across this on my own but when I heard it I automatically thought of this blog. The song is for Converse Shoes.

Speaking of Converse, I've never owned a pair of Converse Shoes. I basically wear Payless Shoes, and don't even start to hate or say anything negative because they have cute flats and heels :] PAYLESS SHOES ALL DAY EVERYDAY!, and Nikes. But! But back to the Converse summer time theme song. I personally think I need a theme song, not with my name in it or anything, but when I walk down the street. Imagine walking down the street to your own song. I think Ipod wise, I'd probably be listening to this walking down the street, my friend put this song in a video we made and it's been stuck in my head.



And, I've also been listening to Kid Cudi. I started to really listen to Kid Cudi because my friends and I decided to have a "family dinner/wear green day" (don't ask) and my friend started playing all these Kid Cudi songs and I liked him like immediately. Especially this video, even though it's only featuring him, the video is just cool.

IT'S SUMMER TIME!

It's summer time and I've basically been extremely unproductive, which includes, sleeping, eating, breathing, watching TV -repeat-. It's like I don't know what else to do because I'm so use to being busy every second...and suddenly it just stopped.

So, this blog will be something for me to fill up my endless hours of free time.I'll talk about anything. Music, the world, or maybe just what's on TV, and well I'll go from there.
